Likasi Orange
Kenya FabricL9283-02
Likasi Orange shows a lively striped weave with warm orange bands set against soft stone and inky dark accents. The design feels textured and rhythmic, with the colour sitting in a sunbaked, earthy register rather than a bright citrus note.

About this fabric
This Larsen fabric from the Kenya collection is woven at approximately 138cm wide and has a repeat of V 86cm / H 35cm approx, giving the striped pattern a clear horizontal rhythm. The composition blends 37% Linen, 22% Polyester, 11% Cotton, 9% Polyacrylic, 8% Alpaca, 7% Virgin Wool and 6% Viscos, which helps explain the dry, tactile surface and slightly soft handle visible in the swatch. Likasi Orange combines muted terracotta-orange bands with taupe, cream and deep charcoal lines, creating a warm but grounded palette. The overall effect is textured and tailored rather than glossy, with the wool and alpaca content lending a gently flecked, lightly brushed appearance. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code K are supplied for reference.
How to use it
Use this colourway on an accent chair, bench or occasional cushions where the orange can punctuate a room without overpowering it. It works especially well with oak, tan leather and chalky neutral walls, which echo the fabric’s earthy warmth.
Pair with natural woods and plain neutrals to let the orange striations lead.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Likasi Orange without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
