About this fabric

This colourway reads as a soft desert sand: warm beige with muted tan and taupe pinstripes, lifted by chalky ivory patterning. The woven surface has an earthy, slightly nubby quality that suits the cotton and jute mix, while the polyester content helps the cloth hold its structure. At approximately 130cm wide with a vertical repeat of 20cm and horizontal repeat of 44cm, it has a clear, orderly rhythm that works well in repeatable schemes. The Q 8 + T 3 care code and √BM fire code make it suitable for practical interiors where the fabric needs to look refined as well as robust.

How to use it

Use Kenya Desert on an occasional chair, blind or full-length curtains where its warm neutral ground can soften darker timber and stone. It sits especially well with chalk white, leather tan and natural linens for a calm layered room.

The soft sandy ground and pale ivory motif give this weave an easy natural look for tailored upholstery or lined drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
