About this fabric
From Larsen’s Kenya collection, Kaduna Clay is a fabric with no visible repeat, a width of approximately 142cm, and a composition of 36% virgin wool, 28% acrylic, 19% polyester, 14% cotton and 3% viscose. The swatch reads as a light clay-cream, with warm off-white yarns interlaced with sandy and stone-grey notes that break up the surface. Its chunky, slubbed weave gives the cloth a tactile, slightly nubby character that catches the light across the raised threads. Q 8 + T 3 care guidance and fire code K are supplied for this exact colourway.
How to use it
Use it to soften dark timber, brushed metal or painted joinery, where the warm cream tone will lift the room without feeling stark. It works especially well on simple upholstery shapes or understated curtains that let the texture do the talking.
