Kayar Ebony
Kenya FabricL9285-02
Kayar Ebony shows a tightly worked zigzag stripe in warm ebony, tan and sandy beige. The small-scale pattern gives the fabric a lively, textured look without reading loud or high-contrast from a distance.

About this fabric
This Kenya collection fabric from Larsen is composed of 45% viscose, 34% cotton and 21% acrylic, with an approximate width of 140cm and a repeat of V 76cm / H 36cm. The weave visible here has a slightly slubbed, cloth-like surface that softens the dark linework and gives the pattern a handwoven feel. Ebony black bands sit against caramel, sand and biscuit tones, so the overall effect is earthy rather than stark. The narrow, rippling stripe creates movement across the cloth, making it feel tailored but not rigid. With no additional performance features noted, it reads as a decorative fabric with enough body for versatile interior use.
How to use it
This colourway works well where you want graphic pattern with a warmer, more grounded finish than pure black and white. Pair it with dark timber, bronze accents or plain natural linens to let the tan and ebony tones do the work.
Use it to add a tailored, graphic layer with a warm, earthy edge.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Kayar Ebony without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
