About this fabric
This colourway from Larsen’s Kenya collection is woven in 60% Cotton, 26% Jute and 14% Polyester, giving the surface a dry, lightly rustic handle that suits the visible slub and structure. The design has a repeat of V 20cm / H 44cm approx and a width of 130cm approx, so the narrow stripe rhythm and spaced diamond details can be planned neatly across a scheme. In Kenya Tobacco, the ground reads as a rich mustard-tobacco gold rather than a bright yellow, with grey-brown and ivory outlining that softens the geometry. The effect is warm and earthy, with enough pattern presence to add interest without overpowering a room.
How to use it
Use Kenya Tobacco on a tailored armchair, banquette or cushion stack where the golden tone can warm walnut, oak or dark leather. It also works well at window height, where the striped repeat and pale motif will read clearly in daylight.
