Dan Sand

Kuba FabricL9456-03

Dan Sand is a softly golden, earthy colourway with a calm matte look across the weave. The surface reads as a muted mustard tone rather than a bright yellow, with a gentle depth that catches the light quietly.

About this fabric

This colourway has a warm ochre-gold cast with a slightly dusty finish, so it feels grounded rather than glossy. The close weave gives the fabric a neat, even surface, and the blend of 60% Cotton, 16% Polyester, 13% Viscose and 11% Linen adds a natural, tactile character. With an approximate width of 140cm and a repeat of V 0cm / H 0cm approx, it works as a straightforward plain coordinate. The overall effect is smart and versatile, with enough warmth to soften a room but enough restraint to sit alongside patterned upholstery or textured drapery.

How to use it

Use Dan Sand to add a mellow gold note to walnut, oak or dark-painted furniture, where its muted warmth will glow without looking brash. It also suits layered schemes with cream, tobacco and olive tones.

A warm, understated gold that brings depth without overpowering a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
