Tigris Tobacco

Kenya FabricL9286-01

Tigris Tobacco shows a rhythmic geometric stripe in warm tobacco gold, with dark stepped lines creating a bold, ordered surface. The woven ground has a softly speckled, natural look that keeps the pattern feeling textured rather than graphic.

About this fabric

This Larsen Kenya fabric has a 142cm approximate width and a repeating design set at V 121cm / H 142cm approx, with the motif running in staggered horizontal bands across the cloth. The composition of 46% viscose, 42% cotton, 11% linen and 1% polyester gives the surface a dry-lustre, lightly slubbed handle that reads clearly in the image. Tigris Tobacco is a warm ochre-tobacco shade with a muted golden cast, and the charcoal stepped lines sit sharply against it for a measured contrast. With no performance features noted, it is best chosen for schemes where the texture and pattern can do the visual work.

How to use it

Use this colourway to warm up walnut, smoked oak or bronze finishes, where the tobacco tone can echo natural timber. It also works well as a statement drapery or upholstery fabric in rooms that need pattern without bright colour.

A warm, textured gold that brings structure and depth to tailored schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Tigris Tobacco without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
