About this fabric

This colourway reads as a soft, blue-grey marine rather than a bright navy, so the white motif sits clearly against the ground without feeling stark. The design has a medium-scale vertical repeat, with narrow pinstripes broken by slender columns of geometric forms that give the surface a tailored, textile-led character. Woven in 60% Cotton, 26% Jute and 14% Polyester, it has the slightly dry, natural handle you would expect from a jute-blend cloth, while the 130cm approx width makes it practical for a range of furnishing applications. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Kenya Marine where you want a calm, coastal-smart look with a bit of pattern interest: it suits bench cushions, dining chairs and pared-back curtains. The muted marine tone layers easily with chalk white, weathered oak and pale sand shades.

A cool marine stripe that works well as tailored upholstery or a crisp curtain.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
