Masai Sea Blue

Kuba FabricL9470-11

Masai Sea Blue shows Kuba’s rippling woven pattern in a very deep, shaded blue that reads almost charcoal at first glance. The surface has a soft, low-sheen texture that lets the motif appear and recede as the light moves across it.

About this fabric

This Larsen fabric is composed of 63% viscose and 37% cotton, with an approximate width of 141cm and a vertical repeat of 53cm by 35cm horizontally. In this colourway, the design is worked in layered blue-black tones, so the raised chevron-like waves feel subtle rather than graphic. The weave has a tactile, slightly lustrous finish that suits a tailored interior, while the tonal contrast keeps the pattern visible without becoming bright. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Masai Sea Blue on a clean-lined armchair or banquet seating where its dark blue depth can anchor the room. It also works well with pale oak, brushed brass, or crisp white trim to keep the tonal pattern legible.

The dark, tonal wave pattern gives this blue a tailored, quietly dramatic finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
