Fuji Marine
Kyoto FabricL9416-03
Fuji Marine brings a deep navy-blue ground to the Kyoto design, lifted by slim pale lines that form a strong zigzag rhythm across the cloth. The effect is crisp and tailored, with the pattern reading clearly against the dark background.

About this fabric
This fabric is woven in 61% cotton and 39% viscose, giving the surface a smooth, textile softness with a subtle sheen in the lighter threads. The large-scale pattern has an approximate vertical repeat of 30cm and horizontal repeat of 45cm, so the angled chevrons settle into a bold, regular rhythm across larger pieces. In Fuji Marine, the ground colour is a very dark marine blue, almost ink-like, while the fine pale linework adds contrast without brightening the overall mood too much. At approximately 136cm wide, it is a practical width for making up both upholstery and drapery projects.
How to use it
Use Fuji Marine where you want a deep blue statement that still feels refined, such as a tailored sofa, headboard or lined curtains. The cool marine tone pairs well with pale oak, chalky neutrals and brushed metals.
The dark marine ground and fine pale chevron lines give this a tailored, contemporary feel.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
