About this fabric

This Misti colourway shows a finely woven plain in a muted blue-grey shade, with the cotton and linen giving it a natural, slightly slubby look. The 57% cotton, 24% linen and 19% viscose composition helps the surface appear tactile and softly mottled rather than flat. At approximately 143cm wide, it suits a range of interior applications, and the 0cm vertical and horizontal repeat confirms a straightforward plain that is easy to cut and match. The overall effect is calm and understated, with a cool sea-blue cast that feels fresher than teal and less saturated than turquoise.

How to use it

Use it on relaxed upholstery, cushions or lined curtains where the soft blue can add colour without overpowering the room. It pairs neatly with chalky whites, pale oak and weathered greys for a breezy, coastal palette.

A calm sea-toned plain that works well on tailored upholstery or soft drapes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
