Amazonia Sea Blue

Brasilia FabricL9508-04

Amazonia Sea Blue shows a cool, watery ground with long, ribbon-like strokes drifting across the surface. The pattern reads airy and organic, with cream, navy and deep teal accents that give the design its movement.

About this fabric

This Brasilia fabric from Larsen is woven in a 37% Cotton, 33% Linen, 16% Acrylic, 12% Viscose, 2% Lurex composition, with an approximate width of 129cm and repeat of V 78cm / H 129cm. The visible cloth has a linen-like handle and a gently textured surface that suits the painterly, elongated motif. In this colourway, the pale sea-blue background feels fresh and slightly muted, while the darker navy and teal bands create a layered, almost tide-like effect. The cream outlines add contrast without hardening the design, and the hint of Lurex helps the surface catch the light softly.

How to use it

Pair Amazonia Sea Blue with sand, chalk white or pale oak for a breezy coastal scheme. It works especially well on a feature chair or full-length curtains where the long horizontal motif can read clearly.

Use it for statement upholstery or curtains where the painterly movement can show.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
