Laurus Ice Blue

Betula FabricL9159-06

Laurus in Ice Blue reads as a very soft, muted blue-grey with a calm, powdery finish. The plain woven surface gives it a quiet, tailored look rather than a bold decorative one.

About this fabric

Woven in a blend of 55% Cotton, 17% Linen, 16% Viscose, 7% Polyamide and 5% Bamboo, this 136cm-wide fabric has a gently textured handle and a natural-looking matte surface. The repeat is 0cm vertical and horizontal, so the colour is uninterrupted by pattern and the effect relies entirely on the subtle weave and tone. In this colourway, the blue sits very close to a pale ice wash, softened further by the linen and cotton content so it feels fresh rather than icy. The overall impression is light, airy and understated, with just enough depth to sit comfortably in a relaxed interior scheme. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √CM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Ice Blue for loose covers, cushions or simple curtains where you want a cool, restful colour that won’t dominate the room. It pairs particularly well with chalk white, pale oak and other washed-out neutrals.

A cool, airy blue that works easily on both upholstery and curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
