Laurus Linen

Betula FabricL9159-04

Laurus Linen is a softly textured beige with a quiet, matte look and a gently mottled surface. Its light oat tone reads warm and natural, with the weave giving it a subtle depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

Laurus Linen from Larsen’s Betula collection is a 136cm approx wide fabric with a plain, textured surface and no visible repeat, making the cloth feel understated and easy to tailor. The composition blends 55% cotton, 17% linen, 16% viscose, 7% polyamide and 5% bamboo, which helps explain the fabric’s softly crisp handle and lightly speckled finish. In this colourway, the beige sits in a warm oat range rather than a greyed stone tone, so it feels calm, natural and slightly sunlit. The surface catches light gently across the fine weave, giving it a restrained depth that works well in both upholstery and curtains. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √CM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use this soft beige to bring warmth to tailored seating, relaxed blinds or full-length curtains without overpowering timber or stone finishes. It pairs especially well with chalk white, aged brass and muted greens.

A calm neutral with enough body for upholstery and drapery alike.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
