Cornus Mother of Pearl

Betula FabricL9158-01

Cornus Mother of Pearl is a softly reflective cream textile with a delicate all-over geometric pattern. Its pale, pearly ground keeps the design light and understated, while the woven detail adds quiet definition.

About this fabric

Woven in a blend of 40% cotton, 36% viscose, 14% acrylic and 10% linen, this fabric has a refined handle and a crisp, lightly textured surface. The pattern reads as a small repeating diamond-and-dot motif, sitting tonally within the cloth rather than contrasting sharply against it. In this Mother of Pearl colourway, the effect is cool and airy, with the pattern just visible until light catches the weave. The fabric is approximately 138cm wide, with a repeat of V 10cm / H 11cm approx, and carries fire code √CM.

How to use it

Use it for smart upholstered pieces, Roman blinds or full-length curtains where the pale pearl tone can brighten a room without feeling stark. It pairs well with bleached woods, soft grey upholstery and brushed metallic accents.

A quietly luminous neutral that works beautifully on tailored upholstery or soft drapes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
