About this fabric
This Baya fabric from Larsen is a 140cm approx wide textile with a repeat of V 71cm / H 140cm approx, so the motif has a substantial, large-scale presence across the width. The composition combines 28% Virgin Wool, 27% Acrylic, 25% Viscose, 12% Polyester, 5% Cotton and 3% Linen, which helps explain the fabric’s gently textured handle and softly luminous finish. In Seaside Clay, the overall effect is a warm off-white with a clay-beige cast and pale striated detailing that catches the light without looking glossy. The flowing abstract pattern feels understated and tailored, making the colourway read calm and refined rather than stark.
How to use it
Use Seaside Clay to soften clean-lined upholstery, where its warm cream tone can lift darker woods and stone. It also works beautifully as drapery in pared-back rooms, especially where you want texture and movement without a strong colour statement.
