Tempe Saffron

Baya FabricL9385-01

Tempe Saffron shows a scrolling leaf motif in saffron gold and soft ivory, set against a warm sandy ground. The finish has a gentle silk lustre that lifts the pattern without making it feel shiny.

About this fabric

This colourway of Baya reads as a warm, earthy saffron: the leaf motif is worked in olive-gold tones with pale ivory contrasts over a softly textured beige base. The 74% silk and 26% polyester composition gives it a refined surface with a subtle sheen and enough body to suit both curtains and soft furnishings. With a repeat of V 79cm / H 128cm approx and a width of 128cm approx, the pattern has a generous, architectural rhythm that feels measured rather than busy. The overall effect is sun-baked and tailored, with the natural slub-like texture visible in the cloth adding depth to the palette.

How to use it

Use Tempe Saffron to bring warmth to neutral upholstery or full-length drapes in a room with oak, walnut or aged brass. Its muted gold ground works especially well with chalky whites, stone and tobacco accents.

Pair with linen neutrals and dark timber for a tailored, sunlit scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
