Theo Yellow

Theo Yellow is a softly glowing woven fabric with a fine herringbone-like texture that reads as a calm, buttery yellow. The close, small-scale pattern gives it a tailored look without feeling busy.

About this fabric

Woven in a blend of 60% recycled wool, 15% polyester, 10% polyamide, 10% wool and 5% other fibres, Theo Yellow has a reassuringly substantial handle with a neat surface finish. The colour is a pale, warm yellow with a gentle cream undertone, so it feels lighter and softer than a strong primrose. Its tiny repeating chevron structure adds quiet movement across the cloth, while the 146cm approximate width makes it practical for a range of furnishing projects. With a vertical repeat of 0cm and horizontal repeat of about 1cm, the design is straightforward to match and keeps the emphasis on texture rather than bold pattern.

How to use it

Use Theo Yellow to lift a neutral scheme, especially alongside natural woods, chalky whites and linen shades. It would also bring a soft sunny note to upholstered occasional chairs, cushions or relaxed blinds.

A soft, sunny neutral that brings warmth without overpowering a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
