About this fabric

Woven in 60% Cotton, 28% Viscose and 12% Linen, this 140cm-wide fabric has a crisp, textural handle and a subtle surface sheen that catches the light without looking glossy. The repeat is a neat V 1cm / H 3cm approx, creating a small-scale herringbone check that reads clearly from close up and as a soft overall texture from a distance. Ochre sits at the warmer end of yellow here, with a mellow, sunlit depth rather than a bright citrus note. The care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √CM are supplied for this exact fabric.

How to use it

Use Marlow Ochre to warm up painted timber, natural oak and pale neutral upholstery, where its golden tone can act as a soft accent. It works especially well on a tailored occasional chair, Roman blind or cushion, where the small-scale weave can be appreciated.

A warm ochre weave that brings a cheerful, tailored lift to upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
