About this fabric

This Jane Churchill fabric from the Roxam collection is woven in 60% cotton, 28% viscose and 12% linen, with a width of approximately 140cm and a repeat of V 1cm / H 3cm approx. In this colourway, the ground reads as a warm oatmeal beige, while the tiny zigzag motif sits just a shade lighter, giving the surface a subtle tonal rhythm rather than strong contrast. The weave has a dry, natural handle visually softened by the viscose, so the cloth feels refined without looking shiny or heavy. Its small-scale pattern and calm neutral palette make it an easy coordinating fabric for schemes that need texture more than statement.

How to use it

Use Marlow Beige on accent chairs, dining seats or relaxed curtains where the small pattern can add interest without dominating the room. It pairs especially well with pale timber, chalky whites and deeper putty or taupe upholstery.

A quietly tailored neutral that layers easily with oak, linen and deeper taupe tones.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
