Fontane Beige

Sansa FabricJ737F-01

Fontane Beige shows a softly worked lattice motif in warm beige and ivory, with a gentle woven texture that keeps the pattern feeling calm rather than sharp. The repeat reads clearly, but the overall effect stays light and understated.

About this fabric

Fontane Beige is a textile from Jane Churchill’s Sansa collection, made in a blend of 42% Linen, 27% Cotton, 27% Viscose and 4% Polyamide. At approximately 144cm wide with a vertical repeat of 35cm and horizontal repeat of 18cm, it has the scale to hold its pattern neatly across cushions, curtains or occasional upholstery. In this colourway the ground sits in a muted sandy beige, while the ivory lattice lifts the surface with a slightly chalky contrast. The weave visible in the image gives the design a soft, tailored look, and the Q 8 + T 3 care code and √BM fire rating support everyday interiors.

How to use it

Use Fontane Beige where you want pattern that feels polished but not busy: it works particularly well with pale oak, plaster pinks and taupe upholstery. The warm neutral ground and ivory motif also pair easily with brushed brass and soft white window treatments.

A refined neutral that brings pattern without overpowering a room.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Fontane Beige without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
