Fraser Stone

Skye FabricJ0265-03

Fraser Stone is a quietly tailored neutral with a fine herringbone-style weave that reads as soft stone beige. The surface has a dry, wool-rich look with subtle tonal speckling that keeps the colourway from feeling flat.

About this fabric

Fraser Stone from the Skye collection by Jane Churchill is a fabric with a 144cm approximate width and a restrained horizontal repeat of V 0cm / H 2cm approx. Its 51% recycled wool, 39% recycled acrylic and 10% recycled polyester composition gives the cloth a softly textured, lightly napped appearance that suits both upholstery and drapery use. In this colourway, the beige ground sits in a warm stone register with gentle taupe undertones, while the tiny herringbone lines add quiet movement across the face of the cloth. The effect is calm and practical rather than crisp, making it an easy neutral for rooms that need warmth without strong colour.

How to use it

Use Fraser Stone where you want a soft, architectural neutral: it works well on clean-lined armchairs, banquettes or relaxed curtains. Its muted stone-beige tone pairs naturally with oak, chalky whites and darker accent timbers.

A muted neutral with an easy, tailored feel for classic upholstery or understated curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Fraser Stone without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
