Fraser Ocean

Skye FabricJ0265-10

Fraser Ocean has a quiet, heathered blue-grey look with a fine herringbone-like texture visible across the surface. The effect is softly variegated rather than flat, giving the colourway a calm, coastal depth.

About this fabric

Woven in 51% Recycled Wool, 39% Recycled Acrylic and 10% Recycled Polyester, Fraser Ocean has the reassuring body of a structured textile with a gently worn, tactile finish. The repeat is a subtle V 0cm / H 2cm approx, which keeps the small-scale chevron effect steady and tailored across the cloth. At 144cm approx wide, it is a practical width for curtains, cushions and upholstery pieces where a restrained pattern is wanted. The colour reads as a cool, muted ocean blue with grey notes, so the weave catches the light in a soft, misty way rather than appearing bright or nautical.

How to use it

Use this blue-grey beside pale timber, linen neutrals and brushed metal for a composed, coastal scheme. It also works well as a quiet grounding fabric on occasional chairs or relaxed drapery where the small pattern can add texture without dominating.

A cool, understated blue that pairs neatly with pale oak, chalk whites and denim-toned accents.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Fraser Ocean without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
