About this fabric

The ocean-blue tone reads calm and slightly smoky, rather than bright or highly saturated, while the close weave catches the light in fine vertical and horizontal variations. This fabric weighs 300gsm and has a 144cm usable width, giving it a versatile mid-weight presence for upholstery or drapery. Its vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are both 0cm, so the textured plain surface can be used without pattern matching. The softly broken weave adds interest while keeping the overall look clean and understated.

How to use it

Use Martello Ocean on a contemporary armchair, bench or loose-lined curtain where its cool blue tone can sit alongside chalky whites, pale woods and warm neutrals. Its lightly mottled texture also works well as a calm contrast to sharper geometric patterns.
