Herrera Ink
Metropolitan Fabrics FabricCCF0811-01
Herrera Ink pairs a deep, cool ink-blue ground with broken ivory vertical marks, creating a strongly graphic stripe with an intentionally weathered finish. The uneven edges and varied brush-like density keep the repeat from feeling rigid or uniform.

About this fabric
This 395gsm fabric has a substantial handle suited to upholstery, while its 140cm usable width provides practical coverage for furniture projects. The design is built from irregular vertical bands, with dark ink-blue columns interrupted by rough ivory strokes and softer blue-grey flecks. Its vertical repeat is 56.7cm and its horizontal repeat is 35cm, so the distressed stripe rhythm remains clearly visible across a wider upholstered surface. The high-contrast palette reads cool and architectural, with the pale marks lifting the depth of the navy-like ground.
How to use it
Use Herrera Ink on a statement armchair, banquette or headboard where its vertical movement can be seen clearly. Balance the cool ink tone with warm timber, natural linen or softly aged brass to prevent the ivory-and-blue contrast from feeling stark.
Use the cool ink-and-ivory contrast to bring graphic structure to upholstered seating, benches or occasional chairs.

Pairs well with
Herrera Ink is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
