Tessellati Midnight/Gilver

Metalli FabricCCF0538-02

Tessellati Midnight/Gilver combines a deep midnight-navy ground with broken silver-gilver brush marks, creating a richly layered, weathered surface. The irregular blocks and scraped-looking strokes give the colourway depth without a conventional motif.

About this fabric

At 98 gsm, this is a light textile suited to drapery, with a generous 297 cm usable width for broad curtains and full-height drops. The design repeats every 66 cm vertically and 70 cm horizontally, while the scattered horizontal and vertical marks keep the abstract composition visually active. Midnight navy gives the ground a cool, inky depth, while pale silver-gilver areas catch the eye like worn paint or exposed texture. The high contrast between the dark blue field and chalky light accents makes this colourway feel atmospheric and distinctly urban.

How to use it

Use it for full-length curtains in a cool, contemporary room, pairing the midnight navy with charcoal, soft grey or brushed metal. Keep surrounding upholstery comparatively quiet so the silver-gilver distressed pattern remains the visual focus.

Use the cool navy-and-gilver ground for full-height curtains where its distressed painterly pattern can read across a broad drop.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Tessellati Midnight/Gilver without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
