Holzer Ink

Metropolitan Fabrics FabricCCF0813-01

Holzer Ink pairs a cool, muted ink-blue ground with pale ivory zigzags, creating a tightly woven diamond pattern with a finely striated surface. Its high-contrast geometry reads crisp and graphic while the blue remains softened rather than saturated.

About this fabric

The repeated angular motif forms narrow diamonds and chevrons, with the ivory lines broken by darker blue-grey woven striations that add depth across the surface. At 365 gsm, this is a substantial textile with a visibly dense weave suited to upholstery applications. The usable width is 140 cm, and the pattern repeats every 17.1 cm vertically and 17.5 cm horizontally. A standard length of 40 m supports larger upholstery requirements and coordinated runs.

How to use it

Use Holzer Ink on a structured armchair, headboard or sofa where its cool ink tone can act as a graphic focal point. Pair it with chalky ivory, pale grey or brushed metal accents to pick up the lighter threads without competing with the angular repeat.

The cool ink-blue and ivory zigzag weave brings crisp graphic structure to upholstered seating and occasional furniture.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
