Ortega Ivory

Metropolitan Fabrics FabricCCF0826-02

Ortega Ivory is a softly tonal woven fabric, pairing a pale warm-ivory ground with an almost white, irregular loop motif. The close colour contrast lets the pattern emerge gently while retaining a light, calm appearance.

About this fabric

The surface has a substantial 456gsm feel, with a softly textured weave that gives the ivory colour gentle tonal depth rather than a flat finish. Small, organic looped forms are distributed across the design in a 35cm vertical and 35cm horizontal repeat. With a 140cm usable width, it provides a practical cutting area for upholstered furniture. The 40m standard length suits larger upholstery projects or coordinated schemes requiring continuity.

How to use it

Use Ortega Ivory on a tailored armchair, sofa or headboard where its warm pale tone can soften darker timber and contrast with deeper taupe, olive or charcoal accents. Its restrained pattern also works well alongside plain boucle, linen-look or velvet textures.

A substantial ivory woven for upholstered seating, with a quietly textured, low-contrast motif.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
