About this fabric

The design combines a warm ivory background with muted slate-grey forms that vary between rounded, pebble-like outlines and more angular organic shapes. Its softly contrasting tones give the pattern a calm, lightly graphic character rather than a high-contrast animal print effect. At 456gsm, the cloth has a substantial weight suited to upholstery. The fabric has a 140cm usable width, with a 35cm vertical and 35cm horizontal pattern repeat for considered motif placement.

How to use it

Use Ortega Slate on a structured armchair, dining seat or sofa where its warm ivory base can brighten the form while the soft slate-grey pattern adds definition. Pair it with chalky neutrals, pale timber and cool grey accents for a restrained, contemporary scheme.

The warm ivory ground and softened slate-grey pattern bring gentle contrast to tailored upholstery and occasional chairs.
