About this fabric

This wallpaper’s abstract pattern is built from broad circular gestures, broken arcs and dry-brush textures, with darker grey accents tracing the edges of the forms. The restrained slate, chalk and charcoal palette reads muted and mineral rather than strongly coloured, allowing the layered marks to remain the focus. It has a useable width of 52 cm and a standard length of 10.05 m. The vertical pattern repeat is 52 cm, with a 0 cm horizontal repeat, and the supplied weight is 180 gsm.

How to use it

Pair Hatoum Slate with chalky whites, pale timber and cool grey upholstery for an airy, contemporary room. Its soft slate tone also works well behind darker charcoal or black accents, where the circular brushwork gains extra depth.

Use this cool, painterly slate-grey design to add movement without introducing strong colour.
