About this fabric

Midori Charcoal is a cool, deep grey textile with fine pale and darker threads crossing into a softly irregular grid. The surface has no pattern repeat, with both vertical and horizontal repeats measured at 0 cm. At 112 gsm and 297 cm usable width, it is a light, wide fabric suited to drapery rather than hard-wearing upholstery. Its standard length is 40 m, while the charcoal tone absorbs light and the interlaced threads add subtle visual depth.

How to use it

Use this cool charcoal-grey colourway for full-length curtains where its fine crosshatch can soften a room without introducing a strong motif. Pair it with pale stone, weathered timber or brushed metal to bring out the lighter threads in the weave.

Use this cool charcoal-grey weave for understated curtains and soft window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
