About this fabric
At 468 gsm, this substantial woven fabric is well suited to upholstery, with enough visual depth for seating and occasional furniture. Its 136.5 cm usable width supports practical upholstery planning, while the 30 m standard length is suitable for larger furnishing requirements. The small 4 cm vertical by 3.5 cm horizontal repeat is visible as a close-set scatter of charcoal marks across the pale ground. The overall effect is a cool charcoal-and-ivory mélange: the dark threads soften into the light base in brighter areas, while the charcoal depth becomes more pronounced in shadow.
How to use it
Pair Yves Charcoal with warm timber, blackened metal or soft ivory upholstery details to balance its cool, lightly flecked tone. It works particularly well on tailored seating where the small repeat and horizontal weave can be seen at close range.
