Pierre Peacock/Chartreuse

Mode FabricCCF0449-05

Pierre Peacock/Chartreuse has a cool peacock-blue and blue-grey appearance, softened by fine chartreuse, taupe and pale mineral flecks. Its closely woven surface creates a richly mottled, textile-led finish rather than a printed motif.

About this fabric

This Clarke & Clarke Mode fabric weighs 468gsm and has a 137cm usable width, giving the cloth a substantial presence suited to upholstery. The image shows a dense, irregular crosshatched weave in which cool blue-grey threads sit alongside charcoal, cream, tan and small chartreuse accents. The tightly packed texture adds visual depth while the light-catching flecks keep the darker peacock tones from feeling flat. With a 0cm vertical and 0cm horizontal pattern repeat, the surface reads as a continuous woven texture.

How to use it

Use this cool blue-grey colourway on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its charcoal depth can anchor a room. Pick out the occasional chartreuse and warm tan threads with cushions, ceramics or timber tones rather than matching the blue too literally.

A substantial, finely crosshatched weave that brings cool peacock depth and lively chartreuse warmth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
