About this fabric

This dense woven fabric weighs 468gsm and has a substantial, nubby handle that makes it particularly suitable for upholstery. The berry and burgundy base reads warm and saturated, while pale yarns and occasional cool turquoise-blue threads create a finely speckled, tactile appearance. With a usable width of 137cm and a standard length of 30m, it is supplied without a vertical or horizontal pattern repeat. The close-set horizontal and vertical yarns produce texture across the cloth rather than a separate printed motif.

How to use it

Use Pierre Berry on a statement armchair, sofa or upholstered headboard where its deep wine tone can anchor a room. Pick up its tiny turquoise and cream accents in cushions or ceramics for contrast without losing the colourway’s enveloping warmth.
