About this fabric

Woven in a 45% viscose, 30% linen, 25% cotton blend, Thara Grenat has a textured, cloth-like handle that suits both upholstery and drapery uses. The design repeats in a strong vertical and horizontal rhythm, with a reported repeat of V 76cm and H 43cm approx, which gives the motif a clear architectural order. On this colourway, the ivory background keeps the palette fresh while the grenat, emerald, blue and saffron details stand out with a vivid, almost lacquered brightness. The overall effect is decorative but controlled, with enough body in the weave to hold the pattern clearly across the 129cm approx width.

How to use it

Pair it with painted woods, brass and plain linens so the jewel colours remain the focus. It works especially well on a feature chair, occasional ottoman or lined curtains in a room that needs a sharper, more spirited accent.
