About this fabric
Hampton Large Check Petrol Blue is a woven print-and-weave fabric from J Brown’s Hampton collection, shown here in a broad checked layout with petrol blue stripes, pale ivory grounds and muted grey layers. The surface has a dry, slightly slubby texture that keeps the pattern looking tactile rather than flat. With a Martindale of 20,000 and General Domestic usage, it is suited to everyday interior use, especially where a smart, durable fabric is needed. It is composed of 67% Polyester and 33% Recycled Polyester, and is supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852. After care is Professional Dry Clean in situ, with further guidance in the pattern book.
How to use it
Use this petrol blue check on a compact armchair, banquette or feature cushions where its larger-scale pattern can stand out. It works well with pale oak, brushed chrome and crisp white paint, or layered into a navy-and-linen scheme for a sharper contrast.
