About this fabric

Part of the Chamonix collection by J Brown, this plain fabric is composed of 62% polyester and 38% cotton. It is specified for heavy domestic use and has a Martindale rating of 35,000, making it a practical choice for well-used seating. The swatch shows a rich navy tone with a very slight mottled movement across the surface, giving it depth rather than a hard, uniform finish. Supplied back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, it can also be professionally dry cleaned in situ, with further care instructions available in the pattern book.

How to use it

Use this navy on tailored sofas, banquettes, or dining chairs where a darker plain can add structure without competing with patterned pieces. It pairs especially well with pale wood, crisp white, and warm metallic accents for a sharp, contemporary contrast.
