About this fabric

Part of the Chamonix collection by J Brown, this plain fabric is made from 62% polyester and 38% cotton and is specified for Heavy Domestic use. It has a 35,000 Martindale rating and comes back coated to Cigarette & Match to BS5852, with other treatments available upon request. In the swatch, the colour sits between teal and green, with a subdued marine depth rather than a bright nautical tone. The surface shows a fine woven texture that softens the shade and gives it a gentle, lived-in matte character.

How to use it

Use this marine green on an armchair, bench or sofa where you want colour without flash; its cool depth pairs neatly with pale oak, chalky neutrals and brushed metal. It also works well as a grounding plain beside patterned cushions or curtains with blue-green tones.
