Carmen Jade

Digital Prints Fabric

Carmen Jade brings a layered patchwork of angular geometrics in deep jade, navy, olive and cream. The design reads as lively but grounded, with a slightly weathered printed finish that softens the sharp shapes.

About this fabric

This Fabric from Fryett's Digital Prints is composed of 70% BCI cotton and 30% polyester, with a 140cm width and a repeat of 85.2cm vertical and 45.6cm horizontal. The swatch shows a bold all-over geometric pattern built from stepped diamonds, zigzags and ikat-like blocks, set against a warm cream ground. Jade and olive greens sit alongside inky navy and teal accents, giving the colourway a cool, layered look with enough depth to hold interest from a distance. The printed surface feels crisp rather than heavy, which suits the fabric's versatile character for both upholstery and drapery where a statement pattern is wanted. Care instructions: 1<NQT.

How to use it

Use it as a feature armchair or blind in a room with pale timber, chalky walls and quieter solid fabrics. The jade and navy tones work especially well with brass, blackened metal or other deep blue-green accents.

Pair with plain linens or velvet to let the bold patchwork motif lead.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Carmen Jade without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
