Fern Forest Jade

Coast Fabric

Fern Forest Jade pairs a deep jade ground with a lively scatter of foxes, birds and fern fronds. The print feels playful but grounded, with the darker background making the orange and coral motifs pop.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this fabric has a 140cm width and a 32cm pattern repeat, making the repeating woodland scene easy to plan across cushions, blinds or light upholstery. The jade base reads cool and slightly muted rather than bright, giving the design a dense, forest-floor feel. Fresh teal and green foliage sits against the dark ground, while the foxes and birds add warm orange and coral accents that lift the whole pattern. The cotton surface keeps the look crisp and approachable, with the small-scale repeat creating plenty of detail without overwhelming a room.

How to use it

Use it to bring colour to a reading chair, breakfast nook or roman blind, where the dark jade background will hold its own against timber and painted trim. It works especially well with natural oak, chalky whites and brass details that echo the warm motif colours.

A lively green ground with playful fox-and-foliage detail for characterful soft furnishing.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Fern Forest Jade without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
