Carmen Indigo

Digital Prints Fabric

Carmen Indigo brings a patchwork of angular motifs across a deep indigo ground, lifted by cream, rust and sand accents. The print has a lively, painterly edge that keeps the composition feeling graphic rather than strict.

About this fabric

Carmen Indigo is a printed fabric from Fryett's Fabrics' Digital Prints collection, woven in a 30% polyester, 70% BCI cotton blend and supplied at 140cm wide. The design shows a large-scale geometric patchwork with stepped zigzags, diamonds and tribal-inspired blocks in deep navy-indigo, softened by cream ground, charcoal shadowing and rusty terracotta highlights. The surface reads matte and textural in the image, with the print sitting crisply against the cloth for a slightly artisan feel. With no performance features noted and a care instruction of 1<NQT, it is best chosen for schemes where pattern and colour are the main focus.

How to use it

Use this colourway on an accent chair, ottoman or cushions where the indigo ground can anchor the room. It works especially well with tan leather, oak, chalky walls and brushed brass for a warm contrast.

Pair with warm neutrals and timber to balance the bold indigo ground.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
