About this fabric

This colourway shows a cool, mid-to-dark indigo blue ground with a chalky ivory motif that stands out sharply across the surface. The repeated vertical pattern has a 32cm repeat with 7.5cm horizontal spacing, creating a regular, elongated rhythm that works especially well in longer drops and upright furnishings. At 140cm wide and made from 100% cotton, it has the approachable feel of a decorative fabric rather than a formal textile. The visible weave softens the contrast just enough to stop the blue from reading flat, so the overall effect feels coastal, structured and easy to live with.

How to use it

Use Tide Indigo on relaxed curtains, Roman blinds or a simple upholstered armchair where the vertical leaf trail can read clearly. It sits neatly with pale woods, white paintwork and sandy neutrals, but the indigo also gives enough depth to anchor a brighter scheme.

Use it for tailored curtains or occasional upholstery to bring a clean, coastal rhythm into the room.
