Salcombe Stripe Multi

Coast Fabric

Salcombe Stripe Multi is a crisp, coastal stripe with a warm cream ground and slender accent bands in red, blue and soft neutral tones. The overall effect is light and easygoing, with enough colour contrast to keep the stripe lively.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton and measuring 140cm wide, this fabric has a clean, breathable handle that sits comfortably in both upholstery and curtain use. The stripe repeats at 6.9cm horizontally with no vertical repeat, giving the design a tidy, orderly rhythm across the cloth. In this colourway, the cream background reads softly warmed rather than stark, while the fine red, blue and taupe lines add a classic seaside character without overwhelming the base. The weave looks smooth and lightly textured, so the finished cloth should feel neat and tailored rather than heavy or plush. Care instructions are AQV1<.

How to use it

Use it for relaxed blinds, tailored cushions or a neat armchair where the warm cream ground can brighten a room. It pairs well with painted wood, pale oak and other soft coastal neutrals.

A fresh striped cotton that feels crisp and coastal rather than busy.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Salcombe Stripe Multi without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
