Arbre Velvet Cloud

Digital Prints Velvet

Arbre Velvet Cloud sets the forest scene on a softly coloured cream ground, with layered trees drawn in dusky pinks, taupes, blue-grey and muted berry tones. The overall effect is gentle rather than bright, so the pattern reads decorative without feeling heavy.

About this fabric

This colourway of Arbre has a soft cream base that lets the printed trees sit clearly against the surface while keeping the whole design light and airy. The velvet finish adds a subtle depth to the leaves and branches, and the mix of blue-grey, blush, taupe and plum details gives the pattern a calm, slightly muted character. Made from 100% polyester, this fabric comes in a 145cm width with a 32cm vertical repeat and 69.5cm horizontal repeat, making it practical for patterned upholstery applications. The design feels more relaxed than formal, with enough colour variation to add interest without overpowering a room.

How to use it

Use it on an accent chair, ottoman or a pair of occasional cushions where the soft cream ground can lift darker furnishings. It also works well with pale painted wood, putty tones and restrained natural textures.

Pair with warm timber and quiet plains to let the illustrated trees stay the focus.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Arbre Velvet Cloud without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
