Murakami Ink
Metropolitan Wallcoverings WallpaperCCW0148-01
Murakami Ink brings a deep, cool blue ground together with irregular ivory brushstrokes arranged into angular, diamond-like geometric blocks. The distressed marks give the high-contrast design a tactile, hand-painted character.

About this fabric
This Clarke & Clarke wallpaper has a usable width of 52 cm, a standard length of 10.05 m and a 52 cm vertical pattern repeat, with no horizontal repeat specified. Its 180 gsm weight supports the structured presence of the wallcovering. Against the ink-blue background, narrow ivory strokes form broken diagonals, crosses and upright bars, while subtle mottling keeps the dark ground from appearing flat. The cool blue and softened cream pairing feels graphic and atmospheric rather than bright or sugary.
How to use it
Use Murakami Ink on a feature wall where its cool, deep blue can anchor pale timber, brushed metal or warm neutral furnishings. Repeat the ivory accents through chalky ceramics, natural linen or light upholstery for a balanced scheme.
Use the deep ink ground and ivory geometry to bring graphic contrast to a modern or eclectic room.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Murakami Ink without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
