About this fabric

The blue-green tone is muted rather than saturated, giving the swatch a cool, lightly misted appearance that changes subtly as the fine weave catches the light. Delicate vertical and horizontal yarn variation creates a restrained crosshatch effect, with no visible motif or printed pattern. At 112gsm and 297cm usable width, this is a lightweight fabric well suited to drapery and generous curtain drops. Both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are 0cm, so the surface reads as a continuous plain weave; the standard length is 40m.

How to use it

Use Midori Duckegg for full-length curtains where its pale, cool blue-green tone can soften brighter whites and sit comfortably with bleached timber, chalky neutrals or gentle grey accents. The fine crosshatch adds interest without introducing a strong repeat.

A cool, airy duckegg shade with a fine woven texture, especially suited to soft window treatments.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
