About this fabric

Large looping forms sweep across the design in varying depths of ink, navy and blue-grey, while distressed gilver strokes catch the eye around the curves. The cool blue ground keeps the colourway moody and immersive, with the metallic-looking accents adding definition rather than brightness. This wallpaper has a 52 cm usable width, a 52 cm vertical pattern repeat and a standard length of 10.05 m. At 180 gsm, it presents the painterly motif with a substantial printed presence suited to a dramatic wall treatment.

How to use it

Use Hatoum Ink/Gilver on a feature wall with charcoal, slate-blue or aged timber furnishings; the cool ink ground allows the gilver marks to read as subtle metallic highlights. It would suit a study, dining room or bedroom where the large swirling pattern can remain the main visual focus.

Use this deep ink-blue design to bring painterly movement and metallic contrast to a feature wall.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hatoum Ink/Gilver without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
