About this fabric

The textile is woven in tightly packed vertical ribs, with dark blue-black and midnight tones alternating against slim gold highlights. Its 95 gsm weight and 307 cm usable width make it particularly well suited to generous drapery, while the 0 cm vertical repeat allows the stripe to run continuously from top to bottom. The 0.9 cm horizontal repeat reflects the very fine spacing of the visible lines. In changing light, the gold threads lift the otherwise deep, cool colour without making the overall effect bright.

How to use it

Use Matteo Midnight/Gold for tall curtains or relaxed Roman blinds in a room layered with charcoal, ink blue and aged brass. Its cool midnight depth works especially well against pale stone walls, while the fine gold rib adds a restrained metallic glint.

Use this cool midnight-and-gold stripe for full-length curtains where its fine vertical ribbing can create a tailored, lightly reflective finish.
