Martello Twilight is a deep, cool blue-grey woven textile with a subtle teal cast. Its softly mottled surface and fine crosshatch texture give the colour gentle depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

The Twilight colourway reads as a shadowed slate blue, with cooler teal-grey threads shifting softly across the surface. A fine vertical and horizontal weave creates a restrained crosshatch effect, while the close tonal variation catches the light without forming a defined motif. At 300 gsm and 144 cm wide, it has the substance for upholstery while remaining suitable for drapery. With a 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, it can be cut without matching a design.

How to use it

Use Martello Twilight on a sofa or occasional chair to introduce a quiet, atmospheric blue-grey, or carry it through full-length curtains for a cooler, enveloping backdrop. Pair its teal undertone with pale stone, charcoal and aged timber.

The cool, shadowed blue-grey tone brings quiet depth to upholstery, curtains and layered schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
