About this fabric

The close weave creates a softly textured, linen-like visual effect, while the restrained seal-grey tone remains cool rather than brown or warm. At 300 gsm, this is a substantial mid-weight textile suited to both upholstery and drapery. The design has a 0 cm vertical and 0 cm horizontal pattern repeat, so the surface reads as an even, non-directional texture rather than a motif. Its 144 cm usable width and 40 m standard length provide practical coverage for larger furnishing schemes.

How to use it

Use Martello Seal to temper pale timber, chalky walls and brushed metal, or pair it with deeper charcoal and blue-grey accents for a cool, quietly tailored room. Its softly mottled surface can add depth to a plain sofa, headboard or relaxed curtain without introducing a strong pattern.

Use this cool, softly mottled grey as a calm foundation for tailored upholstery, cushions or full-length curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
